MFHD Teacher Evaluation Note from Chair

Dear Students,

Thank you very much for your willingness to complete these course rating forms in class.  Unless instructed otherwise, you also have the opportunity to rate your courses online.  I know that it takes some additional effort on your part, but want to assure you that your time doing this is well spent.  The feedback that you provide is given directly to your instructor after grades are submitted.  It is very helpful to teachers in evaluating how the course can be modified and improved in the future.  In addition to constructive criticism, instructors are grateful for positive feedback that you provide regarding the things that you liked about the class.  Your ratings and comments are also used in conjunction with faculty peer evaluations of teaching in determining merit pay, continuing status, and promotions for faculty at BYU.  Again, your input in this process is greatly appreciated.  After finals are over, I hope that you have a wonderful Christmas break.  For those who are driving home this holiday season, be sure to rest up before hitting the road.  We want to see you all back safely in January.

Best Wishes,

Craig H. Hart

Professor and MFHD Chair
